“ Absolutely incredible Thai food and experience at Isaan Der Thai! The menu is impressively large—it was honestly hard to choose because everything sounded amazing. We started with the Thong Pong Grob, which came in these crispy, airy puffs filled with a delicious mix of yam, carrots, minced chicken, shrimp, and ajad sauce. Super fresh and flavorful. The Thai spiced short ribs were another highlight—perfectly tender, with a sweet and savory glaze, a touch of heat, and a hint of smokiness. Generous portion, too. But the star of the night was the 30oz massaman beef short ribs. Massive is an understatement—the bone was the length of my forearm! Easily a portion for two, but I couldn’t stop eating. The curry was rich, sweet, and packed with heat (I asked for “Thai spicy” and got exactly that). My wife had the tom yum salad with sticky rice, which was bright, crunchy, and refreshingly tangy. Service was great—friendly, attentive, and quick. I’m already planning my next visit. There are at least 15 more dishes I want to try! ”

“ This place is a hidden gem. I used to go to the location at yonge and eglington, but was sad when I heard it closed. Now that I've been to this location I am so happy to have finally found my go to Thai restaurant for real authentic Thai food right in Toronto. I had the fried fish, curry, sticky rice and a sour soup. They had muay Thai fights going on the TVs and a fully stocked bar. The food and drinks was delicious and exceeded my expectations. I felt like I was transported back to Thailand. Amazing service and the chef/owner was so hospitable. ”

“ Went here for the first time! Loved it. Flavours were fresh and spicy. Loved the lamb in the Massaman curry was cooked perfectly and a deep rich flavour to the meat! The gentleman server “Merv” was great and super helpful offering some off the menu specials like larb moo (minced pork salad) fresh and full of flavours. Som Tum Isaan was just like I remember loved it! ”

“ I really liked it here, I went in today, Sunday afternoon and was served promptly. They were happy to accommodate my mango allergy by swapping out the mango salad for the papaya salad. The fish was cooked perfectly, the papaya salad was so flavourful and delicious. Both the jasmine rice and coconut rice were cooked perfectly. Looking forward to coming back :) ”
